Kaiser Vancouver / Swan Island & Oregon Shipyards

During WWII the civilian population came together to build and supply what the Allied forces needed to fight the war.

We see all the movies and read all the books about what happened in combat, but now you can see what happened on the civilian front line. Read from our collection of local shipyard news papers. Collected by the workers themselves.

Take your time reading through these publications to better see what life was like back then. Also, search with Search Feature to find family or friends names or ships that so many brave people served on.

A listing of the publications that we have is located at Pub List. If you have or know where we can get or borrow any missing editions, please let us know at kaiser@beadee.com
