Elgin W. Hildreth, longtime Denver resident, died Saturday in his home, 4428 Decatur St. after a short illness.

Funeral services are being arranged by the Olinger Mortuary, Boulder St.

Born in Coopersville, Michigan, on July 14, 1875, Mr. Hildreth came to Denver when he was six. He attended the old Twenty-fourth Street School and had been a metal polisher many years for the Albert Sechrist Manufacturing & Electrical Co., 1717 Logan St. He was a member of Royal Arcanum.

Surviving are his wife, Amy, to whom he has been married 47 years, and a grandson, Floyd Elgin Hager.
