I'm sure that
your first questions is
What's Goo-Hoe???
Goo-Hoe is a Taiwanese word meaning "Turtle Head" At first westerner's are taken back by this, but in many places throughout Asia the Turtle is held in high regard and associated with wisdom. And applying a common sense - wisdom is just what this area is about.
Through pinches of history, humor, and folk tales Goo-Hoe hopes to open your thinking and also entertain you. Goo-Hoe will present Folk Tales that can be reread to our future generations so that they can feel the past and have a way to rationalize their current and future.
Goo-Hoe does NOT tell you what to do or what to think. Goo-Hoe simply says what Goo-Hoe thinks or what is believed. It is then up to YOU to apply it, use it, and hopefully not to abuse it.
Goo-Hoe is NOT all wise, Goo-Hoe learns from others by looking and listening. Goo-Hoe learns from you, even now as you read this. You also can share some of those folk tales, little know historical facts, or things told to you from your grand parents. Things that would fit well here. Send them to Goo-Hoe....
This area is never finished unless you or your future generations stop visiting and contributing to it. It is like a sound in the forest - it might as well not be if there is not a thing there to hear it. This area is funded by the advertisers that have there links here. Without your visiting them through our links, Goo-Hoe can not pay the bills to be the sound in the forest. ----- How about that, guess that some thing can be wanting to be there to hear, but not be able to travel to the sound......
So why are you still here reading all of these ramblings? Go out there and browse through what Goo-Hoe has for you. At first there isn't much, but as time passes, you will see it grow and grow. There is so much out there and so little time to present it. Make sure that you keep returning and sending others to visit....
